Un video da manuale dello spot ammeregano (e repubblicano): i lavoratori, i bambini, città, molta campagna, il futuro migliore, il cielo, Reagan e persino Lincoln.
Nota 1: certo, tutto 'sto video e poi annuncia l'exploratory committee, ma pazienza, funziona così
Nota 2: grafica e organizzazione del sito sono "ispirate" da quanto fatto da Obama. Sono curiosa di vedere se c'è qualche cambiamento evidente sin da ora nel modo di fare campagna e di comunicarla
Update: chez TechPresident Nancy definisce lo spot "über-dramatic" e rilancia l'intervista a Lucas Baiano che ha ideato il video (e ha - udite, udite - 23 anni). Tra le frasi clou: "I try to find the EQ, the Emotional Quotient, within the person's story."
Ne sentiremo parlare, di questo benedetto EQ.
Bell'impacco di retorica fanfarona - utile per l'intervallo del superbowl o, con lo script anti recessionario generico, eventualmente anche per correre contro Jimmy Carter. Non ce n'e': l'elezione e' "Obama's to lose" come si dice - difficile ricordare uno schieramento GOP piu' sbiadito e meno carisamtico.

Antonella - non sono passato di qui da qualche giorno. Riguardo la tua domanda,
RispondiEliminae’ difficile sopravvalutare l’appeal dell’iconografia, da manuale come dici tu, sullo zoccolo duro dei true believers, pasciuto a pledge of allegiance e sbandieramento sin da tenera eta’, quindi una misura di efficacia coi fedeli sicuramente la conserva. Goffo pero’ anche col montaggio da videoclip, rispetto al video di Obama col look e la sintassi da reality virtuoso. Istruttivo poi l’ambientazione architettonica: per entrambi le case monofamiliari come totem immancabile ma Pawlenty alle bandiere alterna gli avvisi di pignoramento e Obama scandisce lo spot con i villini da suburbia “western” cioe’ i frontline state, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico sui cui "tavoli da cucina" si gioca la partita mentre Pawelnty batte duro sull’inner city della rust belt fronte dell’attacco anti-union su cui puntano i repubblicani.
